i would HIGHLY suggest you change the contest page to get people to upload PNGs and not JPGs. the wiki quartz skin will only use png's (at Image:Wiki.png and Image:Wiki_wide.png). so rather then having someone make an image, and then destroy it by jpeg'ing it, only to convert to the non-compressed PNG to use as the logo, just start with PNG and end with PNG.
